I picked Law enforcement but, I wanted to pick, all of the above. Every hero is sexy in his own right. It all depends on the story. Mads:)

I chose law enforcement also, but agree it depends on the personality and attributes of the particular hero as to how sexy he is. Some could cross over, such as you could have a law enforcement type who is also a handyman. Handy is sexy, imo! I find it funny that so far no athletes have any votes and they all think they're sexy, lol!

I found that interesting as well, since while there aren't any athletes I personally find all that compelling (I'm not much of a sports person), I think there has been some resurgence of them in romance with Rachel Gibson's books, Harlequin's NASCAR series, and Blaze had a baseball anthology out last year, and they're doing a baseball book again this August, I think...

But I also heard for a while we didn't see many sports heroes in romance because women just weren't interested in them. It does really come down to how they're written, you're right!

My fave heroes have always been the, er, otherworldly kind. Nothin' like a guy with teeth. Or claws. But I write Special Edition. Go figure...

I've posted before about my lust for Cowboys. They're usually intense alphas (beast tamers, if you will) who need a sensitive side to keep a animal's...or a woman's trust. *Swoon* For me, a distant second place are the men and women in law enforcement. The guns, the adrenaline, the handcuffs...Hmm, is this a PG-13 site? I think I'll stop now :)
