The pleasure of... food.
I was chatting with a friend tonight about love scenes.
Now - first off, there's not too many groups of people who can take a conversation that includes "sex on the countertop", "How many times?" and "did you include food" in stride as well as romance writers LOL. It hit me mid-chat that while I'm sure other occupations have their job-specific topics, ours is probably the most fun!
So - my point (I did have one) was that while discussing our many and varied love scenes (written, mind you) we sidetracked on on how often we've used food as a pleasure device. She's more creative than I am. Lately I always seem to fall back on chocolate. Probably because of its inherent sensuality, the fact that its pure pleasure by itself, so added to a love scene it only gets better.. and, well, I like chocolate.
I'm not asking if you all use food in sex. That's TMI - but lets flip it... would you give up sex for any particular food?
Did I mention chocolate?

Unequivocally no.
Give up sex for a particular food? No way. Take away the chocolate for life, I don't care, but if I couldn't have fun with my honey, there's no food that could make up for that.

No way
no way!
I have to chime in with the others who've said, nope, there isn't any food that trumps sex for me. I'd ban myself for life from all my favorite foods--chocolate, sushi, pizza, doughnuts, etc--to keep sex. And it would probably have the positive side effect of helping me stay thin. :-)
maybe
LOL
This is definitely good news for our books, eh? Sex wins over food-hands down!!
So much for that fabled "Better than Sex" cake ;-)
However,
One thing I have noticed is if sex gets ignored for whatever reason, illness, stress, exhaustion, etc then food becomes WAY more important in life, LOL. Sensuality will find it's expression one way or the other, I guess...

No Way
I don't know
That didn't last long
GO Ani ;-)
LOL - good choice.
