Supernatural Sex--And a Contest Times Three!
****WINNERS ANNOUNCED BELOW****
My June Blaze, Call Me Wicked, is about a witch living in present-day California. I've always been a fan of strong heroines, and my stories tend to be about very strong women, but writing about a witch took my interest in female empowerment to its natural extreme. And perhaps more fun, it took my interest in writing hot stories in directions it couldn't go without a touch of the paranormal.
I just turned in a set of proposals for three more witch stories spinning off of this first one, and truly my favorite part of writing these stories is figuring out how to make the sex out of this world unique. Sex with a shape shifter? Oh, the possibilities... Heh. A challenge all authors of erotic romance face is how to keep the sex fresh, and paranormal stories certainly help meet this challenge. After all, who wouldn't want to have a little magic or a few superpowers in the bedroom?
This leads me to wonder what is the most unusual love scene--paranormal or not--that you've ever read or seen in movie?
My vote is for a movie, Y Tu Mama Tambien, which wasn't as erotic as I thought it would be, but was very unique in the emotional honesty it portrayed in the love scenes. And of course the last love scene, with the two guys and one woman, was fairly unique...but I wish it hadn't been over so fast. :-)
I'll randomly choose three names from those of you who post, and those three winners will receive either the prequel to Call Me Wicked, The Sex Quotient, or if you've already read that book, you can choose any other from my backlist.

The Tall Guy
Hey Jamie. Long time no blog. Just popping in to say hello and share that one of the most memorable love scenes in a movie for me is the one between Emma Thompson and Jeff Goldbloom in The Tall Guy. It's memorable because it's so funny - they do it up the wall, on the bed, on the floor, pictures fall off the wall, the bed breaks, and still they keep going. I remember laughing a lot when I first saw it. I also really like the love scene in The Thomas Crown Affair, with Rene Russo and Pierce Brosnan. It's very sexy. Again, they do it everywhere - staircase, desk, bed. Hmmm. Is there a pattern forming here? I don't know. I am just starting to read paranormals - I know, I'm slow on the uptake - but I can't wait to read yours. Maybe I will be able to take it to Europe with me on the long, long flight over...
