Whose Shoes Are Whose? Contest...
Back on Shirley's now-famous shoe addicts blog, I said I was going to take a picture of everyone's shoes when we met up at RWA, and I kept my promise. :)
It was pretty funny meeting in the lavish lobby of the Wardman among many writers, editors, etc and scrunching up into a huddle to get all of our feet in the shot, but we did it, and we've decided to make a giveaway out of it -- all you have to do is look at the picture below, and decide whose shoes are whose. :)
So, the players are Sam, Shirley, Ellen, Diana, and Jeannie -- and here on the right is the picture where you decide whose shoes are whose:
We'll number them 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 starting at the "one o'clock" position, the person with the flowery dress, and go clockwise from there. :)
Just equate the position number with the name of the author you think belongs to whose shoes, and post below, and you are in a drawing for this Harlequin anniversary bag, with a book from each of us.
Remember, you have to be registered at Cigars to be eligible -- I'll announce a winner on Friday. :)

Your book is not on the back but may be on the side. The back has the 60 yrs. seal if the picture I'm looking at is correct.

During the conference, someone asked me who the other Cigars authors were. I remembered everyone's name except I was stuck on Karen's last name. (My brain is seriously OLD!!) I could picture your photo, knew your book covers, could tell stories about your life, but could not drag up the correct last name.
As I was about to give up, I saw the book cover on the bag and shouted, "Foley! Karen Foley!"
So yes. Your cover is on the bag. It looks fantastic, too! ;-)

Sam--I'm also still peeved that I did not receive a tin of Harlequin cards at the Harlequin party. I saw them late at night but they'd all been scarfed up at that point. *shakes fist at the sky*
If you score any extra swag and a tin of cards is in the bunch, I'm open to offering bribes. (Do not tell Abby Gaines, though. She was really peeved about missing out and she'd probably double my bribe and then I'd be broke all over a tin of cards that should have been mine for free. oh, the injustice.)
