Sad to see you go, Jamie. It's been a hoot blogging with you, and I am determined to stand next to you at a conference one day and feel short and brunette next to your blonde goddess-ness.

A big G'day to Lisa and Karen - can't wait to play with you both. And can I just say, HOT book covers! Karen, the abs on your flyboy make me long for the days when we actually used washboards to wash with... Sigh. And I want to know what's hiding under Mr Hard and Fast's towel...

Mike says maybe smileys tonight, and he's working on the news bar -- I have been a consistent nag because I am an abuser of smileys. I love them. He knows this, so he's keeping me under control by not having them on actual blog posts, but we can go smiley crazy in comments. :)

I want to send out a big thank you and kisses to him too, because though he's my hubby, he does hours of work programming this site, fixing problems, and keeps it all spiffy looking -- in addition to working hard and keeping me in the style to which I am accustomed. He's the strong silent type, so I can't get him to post, but his hard work is how we have this great blog. Behind every great woman...? Never mind, I know you all have dirty minds, so I won't go there....

And yes, love the new covers -- I know Mike enjoyed reading Karen's post on the research she did for Flyboy, since while he was on submarines in the Navy, he always wanted to be in the air with the planes...

And Lisa's baseball player... sitting on my TBR.

Will miss you, Jamie, and the clever, thought-provoking posts -- and still hope you'll come by and see us...

Change is always good when it makes things better. Mike definitely does a great job. Thank him for me Sam. I'm sorry to see Jamie go but I'll still read all of her books because I really like them,and hopefully visit her blog once in awhile.

Sam, though I haven't gotten Karens Fly Boy yet (next month for sure), I can definitely recommend Lisas book Hard and Fast. Baseball players and new female reporters make for one very good read. That book made me wish that I could have been a sports reporter instead of a news reporter. I loved the closet scene. (whispering quietly, my sons best friend told me to buy that book because it looked and sounded really hot). I'm glad that I did. I wasn't disapointed.

Jamie, I am so sorry to see you go...I really enjoyed meeting you in July, and loved the workshop you did with Tawny and Joanne! I hope you come back often!

Go away for a week and look at all that's happened!  Sorry to see Jamie go but happy to greet the new ladies (and we use that term loosely around here! LOL)!

Flyboy and The Beast Within both look like books I need to pick up when available!
