2009, Here We Come!
Hey everyone, happy after-holidays (almost)! We're here at the cusp of the New Year, one of my favorite times. I love the feeling of the fresh slate of a new year, full of new possibilities and opportunities. Twelve whole months ahead to experience, enjoy, and start fresh. :)
As you all may or may not know, LIAEC was actually started in December 2006, so this month marks our second successful year. It's amazing to me to look back through the archives and see the long list of guests we've had, the wonderful conversations, the variety of topics, and now we're all heading into our third year together!
In that time, I can also look back through those blogs and see how we've had some wonderful friends and bloggers come and go, and this turn of the year is no different. I am blogging now to tell everyone of the changes in our roster. While it's always sad to see friends leave, it's exciting to welcome new members on board, so here we go!
As you already know from Megan's previous post, we'll be having some changeovers, with Megan and Tawny leaving Cigars. They've provided us with such wonderful insights, humor and blog topics, as well as just being extremely cool women and writers, we hate to see them go. 
While it's sad to see Megan and Tawny leave, I'm also thrilled to announce our new bloggers for 2009 will be Superromance author Ellen Hartman, and contemporary romance author Diana Holquist! What a line-up!
As we all know Ellen is not just a technical writer by day and a romance writer by evening, but she will now be co-blogging with Diana and I have a feeling these two are going to rock the Cigars world. I can't wait to hear what's in store for all of us! Diana is a wildly successful author with a great sense of humor, and I know this is going to be one of our best years yet.
So, let's wish Megan and Tawny well (and don't hesitate to offer bribes or threats for them to come by here as often as possible) and offer a big wave of welcome to Ellen and Diana! Also, making a good thing even better, Shirley will be joining us on a weekly basis, not just on weekends, so look for more from Shirley, which is definitely a good thing!
Other than our new members, things will be pretty much the same here for the next twelve months -- we'll keep bringing you new guests, lots of giveaways, and we might be trying a few new blog formats from time to time, but all in all, we hope this will still be one of your regular blog stops. I know I can't wait to see what new topics and adventures 2009 will bring!

I am so sad to see Megan and Tawny leave, but I hope you'll both come back and visit often! And a huge welcome to Ellen and Diana! This is going to be a fabulous year!

Tawny, I didn't know you were going to be off, too! I already blubbered over Megan's departure, but as Karen said, I hope that means that you both will still be frequent visitors! And how exciting that Ellen and Diana will be joining the fun regularly!

I was just starting
I was just starting to know Tawny and Meagan. I hope they will pop in and tell us about new releases. I'm so happy that Ellen and Diane will be posting here. I am so looking forward to 2009!
Tearful waves
Awww, I'm gonna miss it here! LIAEC rocks- the other bloggers are amazing and the posters are just so awesome. I will definitley be visiting and watching to see what everyone is up to. I've got a few things in the works for this next year- April and May Blazes, and then I'm so excited about the mini-series I'm in with Sam and Karen that'll be out in Sept. Its been such a great experience writing with these ladies both here on the blog and in Blaze.

HI Everyone!
I'm thrilled to be able to join the great community here this year. I dropped by a few times last year and really enjoyed the conversation. At the moment I'm on vacation from both my day job and my writing job. It's so relaxing!!
Unfortunately, my vacation is taking place in Scranton, PA, home of my parents and their dial-up internet service...so I won't be back around (probably) until the new year.
I'm looking forward to tons of fun here with you!
