I see London, I see France . . .

Karen Kendall's picture

Actually I only saw France (and no, I didn't see anyone's underpants, in spite of the old rhyme. Which is a big relief, since I'm not at all into other people's underwear. LOL.)

So France was fabulous and I tried to post this yesterday but was, shall we say, technologically challenged when I tried to post pictures. Of course, I am ALWAYS technologically challenged, but that's a whole other topic.

Mr. Kendall (it's so fun to call him that) and I went to the Loire Valley, to look at chateaus. Then we went to the Cote d'Azur to look at the Mediterranean. And finally we went to Paris to look at the Seine and the great museums and the stunning architecture. I should mention that we happened to be there during the Rugby World Cup finals, so we also looked at a lot of French (semi-finals) and English and South African (final game) male butts and legs chasing around a funny-looking ball and trying to kill each other.

If this picture actually uploads instead of laughing at me, here I am outside a chateau while Mr. Kendall takes the picture.

Another fun thing we did while on this trip was go to Cap Ferrat to make sure that one of my characters in my upcoming April book, TAKE ME IF YOU CAN, can kick another one into the water without breaking his head like an egg on the rocks. (This would tend to get in the way of great sex and true love, no?)

Let me tell you, we had to do almost the whole cliff walk overlooking the sea in order to find ONE spot where it's possible for her to do this. But there is a spot, to my great relief!

I just tried to post that photo, but it laughed at me instead of uploading. So we'll move on . . .

Another amazing thing we did was to take a hot air balloon ride in the Loire Valley. Here is my husband helping the team inflate the sucker. (I still can't believe I went up in it!)

Nice a**, Mr. Kendall!

I'm gonna have to go hide from him now, LOL. And maybe I'll get better at this picture posting thing. Yeah, I know, I'm pathetic. See you soon with more France pics! Happy Halloween, everyone. All best, Karen

Karen,

Thank you for sticking with the techno crap and posting a picture of your hubby's tush... ;) Oh wait, there was a chateau or something there, too, right? ;)

Heh.

Glad you had a good time! ;)

Tush pic

Well, that's close to underpants since it's in France, right?!

Thanks for sharing, Karen!

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I, too, am technologically challenged.

What terrific pictures!

Thanks for sharing, Karen! And definitely looking forward to more pics and more stories of your travels! :)

Happy Halloween, everyone!

Great pictures, Karen!! As

Great pictures, Karen!! As for the balloon ride--you are so BRAVE!!! I'd never have the courage.

Thanks for sharing!

Karen

OOHHH

My mom got to go in a balloon once and I would love to. I would be scared, but I'd do it.

LOL, Karen!!

Too funny about the a** comment!

You and Sarah are some mighty lucky ladies... :)

Yep, nice tush!

LOL - can I say that about another woman's hubby? :-) Thanks for sharing the photos & stories, Karen!

I loved the chateaus when I was in France. I would love to take DH there! And I would love to go up in a hot air balloon! Every weekend in the fall/winter, people can go up in their balloons down at this reservoir near my house. A lot of them will offer you a free ride if you help crew for a couple weeks. One of these years I'm going to do it!

Hi Karen

It looks and sounds like you're having a great time. Thank you for sharing with us. Yep, Mr. Kendall really does have a nice Butt, you lucky lady. Mads:)

Thanks and yes, I was scared! LOL

Thanks for the comments, everyone--and yes, by the way, I was petrified to go up in that balloon. But now that I've done it, I have to say that it's less scary than taking off in an airplane. It's amazing and so quiet . . .

Okay, so there's a bit of a bump on the butt when you land, but I had plenty of padding. LOL!
