The Return Of Tv

I never think of myself as watching very many shows, but the truth is...I'm a tvaholic and I'm taking a breath of relief as the new tv season begins.

There's just something exciting when tv starts over again. There's been months of speculation and finally, dear God finally, you're going to get some answers.

Will Izzy die along with George in Gray's Anatomy? Who will make it to the end of Dancing With The Stars? What do you MEAN House's affair with Cuddy was all in his head??? How will they ever fix the disaster that is Heroes?

And on top of that, there's new shows. Will Glee live up to my extremely high expectations? What could possibly have happened to all those people in Flash/Forward? Can Parenthood possibly stand up to the original movie? Will any of them stave the longing for knowing what happens next in Lost?

Oh, there's so much to enjoy. New seasons of So You Think You Can Dance and the holy grail of September...FOOTBALL.

Yup, I'm a happy girl. Hubby, not so happy. Editor, probably suspicious that I'm not writing. Boss...well, thankfully, she likes evening tv too. I think I'm safe and with the sturdy support of my DVR, I have a prayer of keeping up.

What about you? Which shows are you waiting for and eager to see? Which do you think will bomb?

The only good thing about this time of year...

Well, that's not all true. I do like autumn, I just hold bitter resentment that it leads into winter, but enough about that.

I do love the start of the new TV Season... there are so many new shows I want to see, namely, Glee (which I love), The Forgotten, Cougar Town (I didn't want to want to see it, but the preview sucked me in), Human Target, the new season of Lie to Me, the new Survivor (of course), and yes, LOST. I don't know what they can do to save Heroes save end the Heroes world and start new -- they have SO screwed up that show.

Flash Foward's premise freaks me out, I don't really want to watch that one.

Other than that, always happy for new Numb3rs, Burn Notice, Big Bang Theory, Castle... I'll watch the new season of Dollhouse, but seriously, after the disaster of the finale, Joss is going to have to work hard to keep me.

I hate football -- seriously hate it -- so that's not a big draw for me. I may have missed some, but I am very excited to have new TV around the corner...

Sam

not too much really...

Can't wait for Bones, NCIS, Criminal Minds and Grey's Anatomy to come back.
I've been watching an hilarious sitcome for the last 3 years which has unfortunatly been cancelled by the netwrk. It's called THE GAME, and is centered around 3 football players and the women in their lives (wife, GF and Mom). One of the best sitcome I've ever watched but the ratings weren't there. Apparently BET buy it and produce it for a fourth season...grrrr really hope so !

What I wish was coming back...

I miss my Japanese show. They schedule by region for the shows and our area's demographic has gone considerably more Korean, which is okay, but I was addicted like mad to the Japanese dramas and comedies for years and now...Korean gameshows. Just not quite the same. :)

LOL, the freakiness of FlashForward is what's interesting me!

I don't watch much TV...

But I love fall. It's my favorite season, though I harbor the same winter resentment as Sam. LOL

That said, I do watch Dancing With The Stars and fall means basketball season's around the corner. And Castle keeps trying to lure me in, too...

I am looking forward to the return of NCIS, CSI, CSI:NY, Bones and I have just discovered The Mentalist in reruns and am looking forward to seeing how the new season goes.

I have to admit that I am

I have to admit that I am excited to see Dancing With the Stars. My BF is actually going to watch it this year because Chuck Liddell is competing!
